Four projects from the last six years. Each was load-bearing for a brand, a launch, or a customer flow that mattered.

Decathlon Event — event platform with a custom CMS

Built from the ground up: a custom CMS letting Decathlon's marketing and store teams to author event landing pages without engineering, plus a multilingual public site where customers browse and register. RemixJs + NestJS, shipped end-to-end.

Volkswagen Belgium — MyWay · D'Ieteren · Dealer locator

At Vox Teneo: shipped three customer-facing properties for the Volkswagen group's Belgian importer — a branded dealer locator for each Volkswagen brands (Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi, etc.), the MyWay used-car platform, and the D'Ieteren corporate site. My first year as a web engineer.

03 — About

Most engineers pick a side: the code or the product. I never could. Five years in, I still spend as much time thinking about what we're building and why as how it actually works.

Basile Raiwet Namur, BE

Started in 2020 at Vox Teneo, a Brussels agency, building digital products for the Volkswagen group — dealer locators, MyWay, D'Ieteren. Moved to Decathlon Belgium the following year as a fullstack engineer, and grew into leading the team behind c2c, the expert brand sites, and the new event platform.

Technically, I work across the stack in TypeScript — Next.js or Svelte on the front, NestJS and PostgreSQL on the back. But the part I find most interesting is upstream: understanding what users actually need, where the friction is, and what a better experience looks like before a single line is written. The code is how I get there.
